Question about nipple piercings

Hi. Question about nipple piercings. Can I make the primary piercing needle of 2.5 mm? (In the future I would like to stretch up to 5-6 mm)

Think most would start at 1.6mm so starting at 2.5 isn't beyond the realms of possibility. I'd guess most pierces would recommend starting small and sizing up gradually.

My last nippel was don at 4mm so plenty of options, as I remember the pain wasn't worse than 1,6mm so go for it
